Hybrex AMS
Hybrex has recently introduced the AMS, advanced messaging system, for it’s G1e+M and GDS systems. The AMS is an upgrade over the existing voice mail system offering many powerful features.
Online Recording
The Hybrex AMS now allows hybrex users on any extension to record calls. The AMS can be programmed to record all outgoing and incoming calls, or be activated by pressing a programmed softkey. The recorded conversations can then be replayed from your messages, uploaded to your server for archival or even emailed to you.
Voice to Email
Messages taken by the AMS have more handling options including being emailed directly to your phone or pc. You can either receive a notification telling you there is a new message or the entire message itself can be received as a wav file. If you have the AMS emailing wav files it can even be told whether or not to delete the local copy.
Multiple Messages per Mailbox
the Hybrex AMS allows users to have up to 4 recorded greetings per mailbox, this can be handy for seasonal greetings or holidays.
Auto Attendant
The Hybrex AMS has a revised method of providing an auto attendant allowing each line on your phone system to have it’s own attendant. Each of these can have up to 3 language options. Furthermore these announcements can then lead to even more announcements each with it’s own dial plan for complete flexibility. Literally hundreds of attendant menu’s. The AMS has a large capacity at 1Gigabyte, but with it’s ability to export messages to a server for archival it really can’t even get close to using it all. The AMS stores messages in a high quality codec G.711 (64Kb/s) to ensure there is no issues with audio quality. G.711 is the same codec used in digital phone lines for crystal clear call quality
The Hybrex AMS comes in 4 and 8 port AMS cards. which allows it to handle either 4 or 8 calls simultaneously. on a GDS600 cabinet you can equip up to two AMS cards per cabinet. allowing a basic 80 port cabinet to drive up to 16 calls on an attendant simultaneously, on a dual cabinet system upto 32 channels.
