Commander Phone Systems have been in Australia for 30 years and are now synonomous with Phone systems in general. So much that many people refer to a phone system by the term commander.However commander is just a name, ALL models of commander Phone System are in fact other phone systems rebranded.For example the BN commander from the late eighties to early nineties is manufactured by a company that no longer exists called nitsuko. commander D and commander AN were also made by nitsuko.The Commander S, was manufactured by Siemens and the Commander HX was manufactured by Samsung.More recently, the commander NT40, and its larger cousin the NT132, are made by Nortel. The Commander Connect and Commander Vision phone system are made by a company called mitel. Commander has also released many others.
